This may look like a harmless picture of three women in bikinis at a convenience store, but once you zoom out and see the whole picture, you’ll understand why people are talking about it.
**Note:** This story originally made headlines in July 2016.
A seemingly ordinary photo of two women in bikinis at a convenience store checkout went viral — but not for the reason you’d expect. On closer inspection, one of the women is wearing a court-ordered ankle monitor on her right leg.
Shared on Imgur with the caption *”Nothing adds to your summer look like a court ordered ankle monitor…”*, the image quickly gained over 100,000 views and sparked plenty of cheeky comments.
“At least we know she only likes 100m walks on the beach,” one user joked. Another added, “Should leave a fun tan line too!”
According to *The Law Dictionary*, ankle monitors typically allow up to 3,000 feet of movement from home, meaning the woman either lived nearby — or risked a quick trip followed by potential legal trouble.
