Woman Raped Underage Boy ‘Hundreds Of Times’, Found Dead In Jail Cell After Judge Refused To Give Her Bail

Tina Ketcham, 40, was found dead in her Oregon jail cell on March 11, just two weeks after being arrested on multiple child sex abuse charges. Linn County deputies discovered her unresponsive during a morning check; life-saving efforts failed, and she was pronounced dead shortly after.

Ketcham faced 16 serious charges, including rape and sodomy, with prosecutors suggesting the alleged abuse could have led to hundreds more. The victim, a boy known to her, reported years of abuse beginning in 2015. Ketcham denied the accusations.

Her bail request was denied earlier that month, and she died by suicide while awaiting trial.
