‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Solves This Bonus Round Puzzle That Stumped Viewers

A North Carolina woman scored big on *Wheel of Fortune* after a key mistake by a fellow contestant. Beth Barbee of Durham won \$72,392 in cash and prizes during Disney Princess Week, thanks in part to a blunder by opponent Twyla Arbuckle.

Barbee built an early lead by solving puzzles like “Snow White Chocolate” and winning a Disney vacation. During a nearly-solved puzzle, Arbuckle mistakenly guessed a letter that was already on the board, allowing Barbee to swoop in and solve “Following My Bliss,” earning a Disney cruise.

In the Bonus Round, Barbee nailed the puzzle “Picking Produce,” adding \$40,000 to her total. Arbuckle still finished with \$9,800, but Barbee walked away the night’s clear winner.
