Keanu Reeves Says He’s Been “Married” to Winona Ryder for 30 Years

Keanu Reeves recently revealed that he may have been accidentally married to Winona Ryder since 1992. The surprising claim stems from a wedding scene the two filmed for Dracula, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, in which a real Romanian priest conducted the ceremony.

“Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So I guess we’re married under the eyes of God,” Reeves said. Ryder has previously echoed the same sentiment, saying, “I swear to God I think we’re married in real life.”

Though both are in separate relationships—Reeves with artist Alexandra Grant—the revelation has sparked fan delight and nostalgia, especially since the duo have starred together in four films and admitted to once having “big, healthy” crushes on each other.
