Prisoner Who KiIIed 2 Officers, Impregnated Guard Gets Surprising News
Ronell Wilson, 33, was sentenced to death for killing two undercover NYPD detectives in 2003. He was convicted for shooting them in the back of the head during a gang-related robbery attempt.
His 2006 death sentence was overturned in 2010 due to jury errors. In 2013, he was resentenced to death and has been in federal prison since.
In 2012, Wilson impregnated a prison guard, who was later jailed for the relationship.
After further review of his IQ and legal standards, Wilson was found intellectually disabled and removed from death row. He will now serve life without parole.
