Woman Wants To Rename Certain Body Parts Because They Are “Offensive” See it below!
Dr. Kristin Small, an anatomy professor and obstetrician from Australia, is advocating for renaming certain body parts she deems outdated and misogynistic. She highlights terms like the Adam’s apple and Achilles tendon, which reference male figures despite being present in both men and women.
Believing anatomical language should be inclusive, Dr. Small is encouraging her students to adopt more neutral and scientifically precise terminology. She hopes this movement will gradually reshape medical language worldwide, starting in places like Australia and the U.S.
“We have a personal choice to decolonize our language,” she told Courier-Mail, expressing confidence that these historical terms will naturally fade over time.
