Peter Noone, the charming frontman of 60s band Hermanโ€™s Hermits, rose to fame as a teen with his boyish looks and catchy voice. The band became a sensation, with hits like “Iโ€™m Into Something Good” and โ€œThereโ€™s A Kind of Hush.โ€ They even outsold The Beatles in 1965. Known for his shyness, Noone was a part of the quintessential rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, though he avoided drugs.

At 64, Noone is still touring as part of the Solid Silver 60s Show, performing alongside other 60s stars. Having lived in California since the 70s, Noone embraces a healthy lifestyle, reflecting on how many of his peers didnโ€™t survive the era’s debauchery.

Noone, married for 43 years to Mireille, quit the band in 1971, later exploring Broadway and TV hosting. He even appeared as a mentor on American Idol. Reflecting on his career, Noone says heโ€™s grateful to still be performing at 64, now confident and far from the shy teen he once was. At 75, he continues to look fantastic and maintains a strong voice.
