A 39-year-old British woman has been found **alive after floating for four days** in the Mediterranean Sea, following her disappearance off the coast of **Formentera, Spain**.

She had rented a **15-foot motorboat** from the port of La Savina on Tuesday morning but **failed to return** it by Wednesday evening. Worried friends alerted authorities, triggering a **major search operation** involving Spanish coast guard boats, helicopters, and police divers.

On **June 22**, around 5 p.m., a passing boat spotted her **drifting between Ibiza and Valencia**. She was rescued and taken to a **hospital in Valencia**. Her current condition has not yet been confirmed.

The woman, identified locally as **Mary Gavin**, had rented a **Quicksilver 475 Axess** with a Mercury outboard engine. The boat has since been recovered by the coast guard and taken to Ibiza.
