Internet praises man for 360lb weight loss
Four years ago, Cole Prochaska from Florida weighed over 585 pounds. Struggling with overeating and a sedentary lifestyle since childhood, he consumed up to 5,000 calories a day. But after a breakup in 2021, he decided to take control of his life—starting with a walk around the block.
Prochaska gradually built up to walking 10,000 steps daily and overhauled his diet, cutting junk food and sugary drinks in favor of a high-protein, calorie-tracked meal plan. He later added gym workouts, ultimately shedding 360 pounds.
Despite his success, Prochaska still struggles with excess skin and is raising funds for removal surgery. His GoFundMe has raised over \$81,000 of a \$100,000 goal.
Now 41, Prochaska shares his journey to inspire others, saying: “Keep going, keep walking… I’m living proof.” He insists he achieved everything naturally—no surgery or medication—just persistence and discipline.
