Calvin Crew, 25, has been sentenced to life without parole for the 2022 murder of Uber driver and mother-of-four Christina Spicuzza in Pennsylvania.

Dashboard footage captured the harrowing moment Crew put a gun to Spicuzza’s head and demanded she keep driving. She pleaded for her life, saying, “I have four kids,” before he ultimately shot her in the back of the head and left her body in a wooded area.

Though Crew was eligible for the death penalty, Spicuzza’s family requested mercy. He also received 13–26 additional years for kidnapping and robbery.

Crew used his girlfriend’s phone to request the ride. During the trip, he grabbed Spicuzza’s phone and dashcam, which later provided key evidence. He did not attend his sentencing and plans to appeal, maintaining his innocence.

Spicuzza is remembered as a devoted mom who brought joy to those around her.
