A man went to court and said he didn’t do any of the four things he’s being accused of.

A woman was raped twice and sexually attacked at the seafront of a well-known seaside town, the court was told. A man was arrested and charged for the alleged attack, which happened in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on February 16. He will go on trial later this year.

Luis Brazao, 31, from Seafield Close in Yarmouth, went to Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday. He is accused of raping the woman twice and carrying out two more sexual assaults near the town’s beachfront.

The reported sex attacks happened early in the morning near the town’s Victoria Arcade.

Brazao, who used a Portuguese interpreter to speak, said he was not guilty of the charges.

Judge Katharine Moore said the trial will start on August 20. Until then, Brazao will stay in custody.
