In 2012, 22-year-old Erin Langworthy went bungee jumping from a 360-foot bridge over the Zambezi River. What started as a fun adventure turned into a nightmare when the bungee cord snapped mid-jump, sending Erin crashing into the river. She was knocked unconscious, then struggled to free herself from the tangled cord while fighting against strong currents and crocodiles.

After swimming to safety, Erin was treated for internal injuries and collapsed lungs but survived. Despite the traumatic experience, she credits her outstretched arms for preventing worse injuries. Erin’s mum insists she’ll never jump again, but Erin is unsure.
