Ukrainian model Maria Kovalchuk, 20, was found with severe injuries in Dubai, ten days after going missing. She had told friends she was attending a party with two men claiming to be from the modeling industry on March 9. She never showed up for her flight to Thailand two days later.

On March 19, she was discovered by a roadside with a broken spine and limbs. Authorities believe she fell from a construction site, but her family doubts that version and remains concerned.
