Biden Gets More Bad News As He Prepares To Leave Office

With just over 40 days left in his presidency, Joe Biden is expected to leave office ranked as the worst modern president, according to a J.L. Partners poll of 1,006 voters. Biden scored lower than Nixon, with 44% placing him among the worst two presidents, compared to only 14% ranking him in the top two.

The poll cites Biden’s age, leadership, Afghanistan withdrawal, and border policies as factors in his low rating. Meanwhile, Reagan topped the rankings with a +30 score, followed by Obama (+21) and Clinton (+17).

Adding to Biden’s woes, his controversial pardon of his son, Hunter, has drawn widespread disapproval. A Napolitan News Service poll found that 62% of voters opposed the decision, with only 30% in support. Biden had long vowed not to pardon Hunter, making his reversal particularly damaging.

Pollster Scott Rasmussen noted that Democratic frustration is growing, with only 52% of Democrats backing the pardon. The New York Times also criticized it as a *“significant misstep.”* Rasmussen warned that Democrats may blame Biden for their 2024 loss, as internal discontent continues to rise.
