Shawn Michael, 48, from Springfield, Missouri, was stunned to learn he had stage four colorectal cancer after experiencing just one symptom.

Initially believing he was constipated, Michael sought urgent care when over-the-counter treatments failed. A CT scan revealed a large mass in his colon, requiring immediate surgery. Doctors also found multiple cancerous lesions on his omentum, though their presence may have slowed the spread to other organs.

Despite the shock, Michael remains hopeful. Although surgery removed visible cancer, he now faces three months of chemotherapy to target any remaining cells. His story has since gained widespread attention on social media.
