Jon Bon Jovi, 62, has been praised for helping a woman step away from the ledge of the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville on September 10. While filming a music video, the singer approached the woman, spoke with her, and, along with another woman, guided her to safety. He was later seen hugging her as they walked off the bridge together.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared the CCTV footage and thanked Bon Jovi on social media, writing, โ€œBon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.โ€ Fans also praised his actions, calling him a hero and wishing the woman healing and support.
