An Australian family has repeatedly rejected offers from developers eager to buy their Windsor Castle-style mansion, even as a suburb has sprung up around it.
The property, with a 650-foot driveway, lush gardens, and panoramic Blue Mountain views, was valued at $4.75 million in 2012 but could now be worth $50 million. Despite massive offers, the family refuses to sell, cherishing their unique home and its history.
Real estate experts say the land could accommodate 40-50 properties, making it highly desirable. Yet, mom Diane Zammit, 50, says the area’s charm has faded with development, and her family prefers life in their cul-de-sac.
It’s a remarkable display of resolve to turn down $50 million!
