**Man Missing Since 2009 Found Behind Supermarket Cooler**

Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada, missing for 10 years, was discovered behind a cooler at the supermarket where he worked in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Murillo-Moncada, 25, vanished on November 28, 2009, after leaving home in a distressed state. Despite searches, no trace was found. In 2019, workers dismantling the now-closed store uncovered his body in an 18-inch gap behind a cooler.

Investigators believe he climbed atop the cooler for refuge, slipped, and became trapped. Noise from compressors likely muffled his cries for help.

DNA confirmed his identity, and authorities ruled the death accidental. His mother had always believed he never left the store, and this discovery brings tragic closure to the case.
