A 32-year-old woman, Mandy K, was injured at the Berlin Zoo after entering a polar bear enclosure during feeding time. She climbed over several barriers before jumping into the enclosure, where she was attacked by one of the bears, suffering injuries to her arms, legs, and back. Zookeepers quickly intervened and managed to rescue her.
Mandy, a teacher, had been struggling with job-related stress, raising concerns about mental health and the pressures people face. The zoo has emphasized the risks of such actions and the difficulties in ensuring safety in such situations.
