The bodies of Ilya Zhirnov, 25, and Kira Cherkasova, 22, who vanished in December 2005, were found in the Volga River, inside a car submerged for over ten years. Zhirnov had borrowed his father’s car to pick up Cherkasova, and they were last seen in Cheboksary.
